Town Board approves park pavilion rental rate increase

misc · Meeting of June 4, 2026

NY CATHARINE — Catharine Town Board increases park pavilion rental rates. Supervisor Richard Lewis and councilmembers Ronald Hoffman, C. Michael Learn, and Brett Reynolds unanimously approved rates rising from $10 to $50 for residents and from $25 to $75 for non-residents, effective immediately.

The board noted existing rates were significantly lower than comparable facilities across New York State. The increase includes pavilion rental and bathroom access, with revenues designated for park maintenance and improvements. The board also unanimously appointed Arin Walter to the Assessment Review Board for a five-year term and approved bills totaling $28,307.89.
